John Mayer apologizes for using the word N****? Why?

MAYER: My two biggest hits are 'Your Body Is a Wonderland' and 'Daughters.' If you think those songs are pandering, then you'll think I'm a douche bag. It's like I come on very strong. So? What is the big deal? He was explaining a definition. I don't think this "Apology" thing is worth our reading time. John's band is half black. His music is covering genres that black people accept. A lot of white people may be embarrassed, sure. But black folks don't really pay know mind to this kind of thing. John Mayer has not done anything but the music. Why would he be using that word now? Y'all need to relax and take that word off your brain console anyway.
