40th Aniiversary For Apollo...gr8...Now What?

NASA is finishing construction of the station, a $100 billion project of 16 nations, and plans to retire the shuttle fleet next year. After that, the United States plans to pay Russia to ferry crews to the outpost, which orbits 225 miles above Earth.

"We've spent a lot of money up there for almost nothing. It's almost a white elephant," Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell said. "Until we can really get a return on our investment on that particular project, then it was money wasted."

One small step for man....one giant economic disaster for mankind.

Seems to me these new NASA folks aint really tryin' to hear what the WEED is for! Look y'all, if you want minimal spending for a useless outer body experience...get a card and go down to the club and get some Lunar Crush. Or some Galaxy Quest. Maybe some Rocket Red Eye. Otherwise spend the big money on the kids. Before they grow up and start complainin' about everything like we do. Broke.

Feed 'em. Clothe 'em. Educate them. But don't make these poor kids look at the heavans above wishin' on a star that's made of steel. That aint right. And it always ends up as something we regret as people. Listen to these children sing about a penny waitin' on change.

The Blues Knows No Age

Some damn fine blues, can’t believe it’s done by children. A brilliant record from the Homemade Jamz’ Blues Band - 3 young siblings: Ryan Perry 15 yrs old/lead guitar & vocal, Kyle Perry 13 yrs old/bass player and Taya Perry 9 yrs old/drummer.
